First preference shall go to students from Rutherford and/or Cannon Counties in Tennessee. Financial need, in the broadest sense, should be considered. Recipients must have earned at least 60 hours at the time of the award and must remain in good standing with the University and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale. To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria: Recipients must be full time students at Middle Tennessee State University majoring in a Jones College of Business program. **NOTE: Honors College has a separate application process. At MTSU, when determining whether a student has Financial Need or not for scholarships, we require an EFC of less than or equal to 12,000 AND/OR the student is eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. You must have a current year FAFSA on file with MTSU in order to be considered for any scholarships with a financial need requirement.
